Who we are
SEO Studio (seostudio.outshade.com) is a free tool run by Outshade Business Solutions ("Outshade", "we"). For anything about your data, email hello@outshade.com or call +91 88011 12826. That address is also our grievance contact under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
What we collect
- What you ask us to analyse: the website address or business description you enter, and the public pages we fetch from that website to build the report.
- Forms: when you ask for a PDF, a call or help with fixes, we store your name, email, and, if you give them, your phone number, company, website, message, and whether you agreed to receive tips and offers.
- Accounts: your email, name and password (stored only as a one-way hash). If you use Google sign-in, your Google account ID. If you connect Google Search Console, an access token and the search data you choose to view.
- Technical data: your IP address, to apply the free daily limits and stop abuse; where you first came from (for example "Google search"), kept in a small first-party cookie; and a sign-in cookie if you have an account.
- Visit statistics: page views counted by Vercel Web Analytics, which doesn't use cookies or identify you.
Why we use it
- To create your report, page packs, PDFs and the other results you ask for.
- To reply to your request and, if you ask, help you with your website. Outshade's team sees the details you send through the forms.
- To keep the service free and working: daily limits, the "I'm human" check, blocking abuse, and fixing errors.
- To send you SEO tips and offers, only if you ticked the box. You can unsubscribe at any time.
We don't sell your data, and we don't use it to show you ads.
Who processes it for us
- Vercel hosts the site (servers in Singapore) and counts visits.
- Neon stores the database.
- Google runs the AI models (Gemma and Gemini) that read the pages and descriptions you submit and write the suggestions. It also provides Google sign-in and Search Console if you use them.
- Cloudflare runs the "I'm human" check (Turnstile) and our domain's DNS.
- Microsoft 365 handles Outshade's email when we reply to you.
Some of these providers store or process data outside India. We use them under their standard data protection terms.
Who can see your report
Anyone you share a report's link with can open it, so treat the link like a document you send. Outshade's team can see reports to run and improve the service. A report link is hard to guess, but if you need a report removed, email us.
How long we keep it
- Reports and form requests: until they're no longer needed for the purpose above, or until you ask us to delete them.
- Accounts: until you ask us to close the account.
- IP addresses used for daily limits: in daily counters.
- Anything moved to the bin in our admin area is deleted automatically after a set number of days.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, delete it, or withdraw consent to marketing. Email hello@outshade.com from the address you used, and we'll reply within 30 days. If you're not satisfied with our answer, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Cookies
We use two first-party cookies: one keeps you signed in, and one remembers where you first came from so we know which channels bring visitors. There are no advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. The "I'm human" check is run by Cloudflare and may set its own cookie to work.
Children
SEO Studio is meant for businesses and isn't aimed at anyone under 18.
